Men's Ministries

 

This Fall season will include an exploration of Bible prophecies, a teaching on our identity in Christ and locating your personal gifts to benefit the body of Christ. The first series on prophecy will be an interactive series led by Scott Arehart.

 

Have you ever wondered why Bible prophecy is not taught more often? Oftentimes, an attitude exists among many believers in Christ that "when Jesus and the end times come, they will come, but in the meantime I have to live my life in the real world." Perhaps that thought has entered your mind. Scripture is clear that the study of God's prophetic word is both encouraged and will yield a blessing (2 Peter 1:19, Rev 1:3). We challenge the men of Bethany to commit to a time of both fellowship and learning that will explore and understand God's prophetic word. Meaningful, sincere study of God's literal prophetic scriptures will motivate us to holy living, deepen our faith in Christ, sharpen our discernment skills against false teachings, ease our anxiety about the future, and give encouragement and hope to all. Discussion questions include: 
        *Where are we now?
        *How are today's happenings relevant to future events?
        *What are the signs of the end of the age? (Christ's 2nd coming)
        *What will happen to me? (2 parts)
        *What are we supposed to do until Jesus comes?
 
If you come looking to pinpoint the time of Christ's return-you will be disappointed. No one knows the day.  If, however, you are looking for encouragement, to deepen your faith, or perhaps to meet Jesus for the first time, come and spend your time enjoying Men's Ministry programming this fall
